Year 6 is a fantastic year where children have the opportunity to reflect and build on the strong foundations of development and learning experienced in their education so far. In Everest, children spend time developing necessary skills to facilitate their growth as well rounded individuals - ready to face the challenges of secondary school and beyond. Everest children are encouraged to be resilient and to take risks with their learning in an environment where they feel secure and safe in the knowledge that significant learning can come from mistakes. Everest children are encouraged to be forward thinking, to consider their future journey in education, in the workplace and in life.
